Tuff Snuff contains adult stories aimed at gay men with an interest in heavily muscled, hyper-masculine men in high stakes combat or other dangerous situations. The characters in these stories have exaggerated masculine features; they are not muscular, blonde-haired pretty boys with perfect features. They may have scars, body hair, ugly faces, tattoos, low intelligence, a manly musk, and/or a fixation on proving their alpha male status. Many typically manly occupations or genres may be presented, such as barbarians, wrestlers, boxers, police officers, soldiers, thugs, farmers, and construction workers.

Situations depicted usually focus around unarmed combat, where one character's muscle is pitted directly against another's until one man lays unconscious, humiliated, or dead. The stories not only explore the raw, dominating power of muscle-brutes, but also the erotic aspects of this power, and the man who possesses it, being defeated by either an even greater power, clever or unusual tactics, or simply the hero's own mistakes or ignorance.

Inside you'll find the exaggerated essence of a primal male without the confines of society and the social contract. The characters fight, trash talk, assert their dominance, and otherwise act as they please without worrying what others think or whether or not they "look gay" or if what they're doing is polite. They are who they are and do not hide themselves or their desires. Especially in sexuality, that's something to fantasize about.
